The 488 performance box for the Ferrari 488 GTB/GTS (and Pista) is a true "plug and play" power upgrade, which can be easily removed as no soldering is required. The module is a painted die-cast aluminum housing with wires to manipulate the charge air sensors and manifold air pressure sensor (engine speed is monitored via the OEM camshaft sensor). The Capristo performance box for the F488 was developed to maximize performance improvements in combination with the Capristo 488 valved exhaust system.

The Capristo performance box for the F488 was developed to maximize performance improvements in combination with the Capristo 488 valved exhaust system.
With the installation of the Capristo 488 Performance Box, engine power increases by 50 HP (from 660 HP/670 HP to 710 HP/720 HP)) and torque from 560 lb-ft (760 Nm) to 597 lb-ft (810 NM) on OEM 488 GTB/GTS Components. With Capristo Sport catalysts/test pipes and our valved exhaust you will see an increase of 70 HP. While there is the potential to increase these levels further, enough room is left to prevent potential damage to internal OEM engine parts. Further fine-tuning is possible; however, Capristo recommends further (internal) hardware component upgrades if the end user wishes to push the limits of the stock engine further, which would void OEM warranties.
