These catalyst purge pipes can be easily fitted to a CAPRISTO exhaust system or any system that fits directly to the OEM exhaust.
The CAPRISTO valved exhaust system helps torque at low rpm by providing back pressure in the exhaust and raises temperature for good operation of the catalytic converter. While in the open-valve condition for high rpm, it takes full advantage of the free-flow characteristics of CAPRISTO downpipes by optimizing high-energy exhaust at the ideal temperature and backpressure to maximize performance.
< p>*Recommended for off-road and track use only*Replacing the OEM catalytic converter may trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL).
To disable a recurring CEL you will need to tune the ECU or use 02 sensor extensions.
