Like the original muffler, the system has no exhaust valves. To preserve the aesthetics of the vehicle, the tailpipes maintain the same design style as the OEM design of the 288 GTO.
Originally a unique exhaust system tailored for the 'exclusive 288GTO. This system was built for a customer to maximize the car's inherent performance and extract the best possible acoustic profile from the 288GTO's race-derived engine.
The Capristo system is very lightweight with a weight well under 10 kg.
