Exhaust Akrapovic Slip-On Race TOYOTA YARIS GR YARIS 01-21

This exhaust is manufactured using race-proven, high-grade all-titanium and features megaphone-shaped tailpipes. A center manifold optimizes and balances gas flow to produce a pleasant tone without hum. Three resonators - two at the rear of the header and one in the center pipe - further tune the sonic experience to create a deep, sporty tone that enhances engine characteristics with a deep, exhilarating sound. Akrapovic's engineers placed special emphasis on the acoustics in the mid- and high-rpm range, with a high-frequency tone at higher revs and more sound at low revs. The two titanium tailpipes, larger than the originals and specially coated to resist any color change at high temperatures, have a megaphone shape that influences the sound. Developed to reduce back pressure, the system weighs 7.8kg, or 37% less than the stock system and produces a power increase of 9.5kW (12.9hp) at 6,950rpm and torque of 13.0 Nm at 6,950 rpm. This exhaust is designed for track or closed circuit use only. Cutting the stock exhaust system is required to install this product, but no ECU remapping is required for this setup. The optional Evolution Link Pipe is available for those who want even more performance from their exhaust. This product does not meet emission compliance requirements for road use.
