When the exhaust valve is open, the sound becomes significantly deeper and louder, but still hum-free. The performance data refer to the exhaust with Sound Kit and with the valves open. The system without the Sound Kit has a spot welded block in the header pipe which prevents bypass of the muffler. Please note: When the bypass is unlocked, the EC approval becomes invalid.
